monthly membership limits

The recent rapid growth in membership has challenged the Guild's capacity and the Board has deemed it in the best interests of new and future members to limit the monthly influx of new members  We want to be sure that people are able to sign up for classes in a timely manner.  We are working hard to increase class capacity with our all- volunteer staff and hope to be able to change the limit in the future.   

New Membership will be limited to 40 new members per month, on a first-come, first-served basis. This does not apply to renewals or member level changes.

You can still view the New Member  page which outlines the levels of membership and the safety classes required to access the shop.  

If you were on the waiting list, you are free to complete your membership application at any time when there is space available.  Given the number of people who signed up for the waiting lists and continued to sign up, it was unsustainable to continue the waiting list management. Everyone on the waiting list received an email with an invitation to join some time between May 12 and June 13 and many took advantage of that opportunity.
